My girlfriend and I just took our first class at Shiso Kitchen, and we can't wait to go back. Jess is incredibly knowledgeable - she gave us tons of great tips throughout the class, and was willing to answer any questions we had around ingredients, styles, and personal preferences. We learned a lot, had a ton of fun, and the food was delicious.

Bantam Cider Company

Bantam Cider was born from a proud family tradition of wine making to offer creative and memorable craft cider using locally sourced apples and other all natural ingredients. We believe cider making is more art than science, the process requiring patience over expediency. Founded in 2012, Bantam is based in Somerville, MA, only 1.5 miles from downtown Boston. The production space and taproom is open to the public, where visitors can enjoy tasting flights or pints of cider in a modern industrial setting with large communal tables and views of our fermentation tanks and oak barrels. Growlers and packaged cider are available to go.

Went here with friends on a Saturday night and the beer selection was great. I tried 3 very different brews - a Douple IPA, a Sour, and Stout, and loved all three. It was busy as expected and hard to find a table, but loved that they had a live band performing and there were ample games available. Overall great vibe and would recommend!

My daughter treated me to a Sunday afternoon wine class on Bastille Day. What a great gift! We tasted three very generous portions of French wines, including champagne, and learned about the history of the making of these natural wines. I would highly recommend this wine bar to anyone who loves wine and if you aren't a fan of wine, I bet you would be after this activity.
