Teahupo’o Tahiti Surfari is a family venture, founded through our love for our “fenua” (our homeland) and our passion for surfing. Our expeditions begin at the “end of the road”, where we will explore those parts of the Tahitian peninsula in which mother nature remains untouched, as they are only accessible by boat! Uncover the richness of our “Fenua Aihere”, as we walk through lush forest to the caves of “Vaipoiri”, cruise below the cliffs of “Te Pari”, and swim in the crystal clear waters of the lagoon. During our austral winters, as southern hemispheric storms generate large swells in the South Pacific, you’ll be able to witness the phenomenon of Teahupo’o … one of the planet’s “heaviest” waves! The season (July - November) also brings humpback whales to our waters, who often take shelter along our barrier reefs and shore lines. Whatever the time of year, each experience is a true adventure! Whether you opt for a one-hour, half-day, or full-day excursion, come experience the beauty of Tahiti Iti and the vibrance of our Polynesian culture through Tahitian eyes. With over 30 years of experience, Bjarn, is one of Teahupo’o’s most highly respected boat captains. He is known for his mastery in navigating French Polynesia’s south swells in even the most extreme conditions. Matahi brings his free spirit and passion for surf as an expert guide to Teahupo’o and Tahiti Iti’s other reef breaks during our “surfari" expeditions. Cindy, one of the very few women to hold a BC200 captain’s license in all of French Polynesia, shares with you her love for the ocean and respect for marine wildlife, and brings you to those special spots along the peninsula, which served as her childhood playground. For tourists and locals alike, you’ll get a true taste of the islands with Otilia’s “Ma’a Tahiti”, traditional Polynesian cuisine. Mo'o Surf School offers personalized surf classes with an experienced and qualified surf instructor (experience 10 years+ in Tahiti, France, and abroad). 4 persons maximum per class for the best level of service possible and tailor-made classes. Classes for all level, as of 4 years old. Equipement included with the classes, transportation offered (see conditions with the instructor Cyril)

Welcome to Taie Fa’ahe’e Surf School Tahiti ! Our surf school was created in 2013 by Julien Miremont. Former international bodyboard champion and qualified surfing instructor (French certificate in sport instruction and sport education in surfing). For many years, he taught in other surf schools before creating his own. With his own school, he is now able to pass on his knowledge and share his love for the ocean. In our school, you can start or improve your surf, bodyboard or stand-up paddle board skills safely and always in a relaxed atmosphere.
