During the visit of Dalmatian coast I was invited to an evening emwalking tour of the old town of Primošten. We sampled local wines and tried a selection of local cheeses while we enjoyed the soothing sounds of local music. Later on in the evening we strolled around the inner part of the old city. A lovely and relaxing evening that allows you to feel local lifestyle.

This review is long overdue! We visited Croatia in May of 2019 for our annual wedding Anniversary trip. We used Four Seasons to plan our 7 day tour of Croatia in which we visited Hvar, Split and Dubrovnik. Four Seasons arranged EVERY detail of our trip - transportation, hotel reservations, excursions and even several meals! We were fortunate enough to have Igor as our guide and driver, and he was AMAZING. From the moment he picked us up at the airport, we knew we were in for a treat. Igor took such great care of us throughout our trip and he was such a pleasant addition to our trip. Some highlights of the amazing service we experienced with Four Seasons: - private dinner arranged for our anniversary at a winery - private transportation to all of our destinations in Mercedes vans - arranged meals and reservations at restaurants (we loved every suggestion, some of the best food ever)! - arranged all excursions and even ferry tickets I am a corporate event planner that has planned events all over the world. This was the first time I let go of the reigns and used a travel agency to plan our vacation --- and it was the BEST decision ever. Four Seasons made it so easy that all we had to do was get on the plane and once we landed they took it from there. I cannot suggest this company enough, thank you Igor and team for an amazing experience!

Welcome to traditional Dalmatian village and the place where Croatia stepped into the modern electric power era with one of the world’s oldest hydroelectric power plant. If you get tired or if it gets too hot, jump under the big waterfall and swim in the fresh waters of Krka River. The river and waterfalls continually produce natural phenomena, such as travertine formations that are a slow process of calcium-carbonate sedimentation. In addition to that, rich and endemic species of plants and animals revive the nature with every new day and invite you to join the fun. Entrace ticket to National Park Krka is included in price

Inclusions: in a restaurant, Bottled water, Entrance ticket to National Park Krka

8. Sibenik Private Tour With Transfer and Panorama

Rent a guide

This oldest native Croatian city on the Adriatic is located in the most protected natural harbour, in the centre of the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea. This is probably in the same place where some of the original Croatian settlers first saw the blue sea. Sibenik's narrow winding streets, stony houses, many staircases and the remains of the city walls give it a romantic Mediterranean atmosphere. The St. Jacob's Cathedral is the most famous building in Sibenik. It was constructed over a period of a century, and is testimony to the determination, sacrifice and belief of the generations of inhabitants of Sibenik. By many things it is unique not only in Croatian architecture, but in European architecture as well. It is entirely built of stone, no other material was used. It is unique in its brave structure of stone slabs and ribs, with no binding material; it is also unique among renaissance churches in its trefoil front facade. Finally, it is unique in the harmony of its architecture.

Inclusions: Private transportation, Entrance fee for the UNESCO Cathedral, professional guide, Entrance fee for the fortress of St. Michael and Barone fortress

9. Dark Side Of Sibenik

Ul. Vladimira Nazora 53, 22000, Šibenik, Croatia Rent a guide

DO YOU DARE TO EXPLORE SIBENIK’S DARK SIDE? Medieval times might have been full of chivalry and romance, but not all things were following the pattern. After all, they are called the dark ages for the reason. It is a very attractive tour, since guides are costumed, and the tour is combined with the classic story about the history and sights of the city to parts that have elements of drama. It is a sightseeing tour whose theme is exclusively life in the Middle Ages in the area of Sibenik and its surroundings. The tour takes dozens of licensed guides in a way that is divided into groups and welcomes participants at a particular point in the city, recounting lesser-known historical facts related to the lifestyle of the 13th to 17th century. The guides are dressed in medieval costumes, and carry with them requisite (torches, lanterns, maps ...). It is similar to Game of Thrones, but based on real facts and past as it has occurred. At least, we believe it.

We hired Adam at the last second to take us to Plivitce lakes for the day. He was super flexible with timing given that we booked the tour the night before at 11 pm. Adam was a great conversationalist and we enjoyed learning about his experiences during our 2 hour drive to the lakes. He was helpful in showing us around and gave great local suggestions of places to try in Zagreb.
