Things to do in Seville, Andalucia: The Best Cooking Classes

June 27, 2021 Roger Rusk

Originally founded as a Roman city and now home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Seville is bursting with antique charm. The Alcazar palace complex is a stunning collage of architectural styles, and the Cathedral will impress you with its beauty and its status as the burial site of Christopher Columbus. The Metropol Parasol is the world’s largest wooden structure, a massive mix of grids and swirls that contains a market and a terrace observatory.

My husband and I chose Ana to create a custom 3-day itinerary for us in Seville and it could not have been better. We cooked each of the 3 days at Fresh Cooking Spain’s sparkling modern “classroom” and in addition we had a tapas tour, a walking tour of Santa Cruz and a morning shopping in the markets beofre class. Ana creates a fun professional experience for learning about Seville and its classic dishes. Every part of our itinerary was well planned, documented and enjoyable. Cooking with Ana is like cooking with a good friend who also shares their excellent sherry and wine! We will miss our daily walk to cook with Ana.
