Things to do in Santa Margherita Ligure, Liguria: The Best Private Tours

December 16, 2021 Lean Nau

Set on the Gulf of Tigullio between Rapallo and Portofino, the resort/fishing town of Santa Margherita Ligure really couldn’t be in a better neighborhood. Fashionable but much quieter than Portofino, life in Santa Margherita Ligure centers around the lovely palm-laden harbor, where boating and simple sunning are the orders of the day. The town has some good shopping options, lovely cafes and interesting sights like its 16th-century castle and the 17th-century Basilica di Santa Margherita.

This time we have chosen to discover Palermo in a walking tour. That was our first time in Palermo and our guide, knowing this detail, made a point in explaining and making us discover the main landmarks of this beautiful Sicilian city. After that he suggested a wonderful local restaurant where we had lunch and it was indeed very good food reasonably priced and the restaurant was full of local people, which is, when you don't know a city, the best token for good quality. After lunch our guide walked us back to our cruise. Thank you very much Tour Travel for this great experience

I reached Andrea via WhatsApp trying to find a last-minute boat taxi to San Fruttuoso the following morning. He was immediate with his response, set up a taxi for me, and even offered to reach out to his contact at the beach club in San Fruttuoso to reserve chairs for us the next day. We ended up having his dad take us to SF the next day. Just a really pleasant experience all around that Andrea made flawless for us. Can't ask for better customer service. If you're looking for boat services around Portofino, this is your guy!
