September 1, 2021 Enedina Augsburger

Nestled between the shrub-covered slopes of the Santa Ynez Mountains and the clear blue shores of the Pacific Ocean, Santa Barbara is California at its best. Mission Santa Barbara is an example of 18th-century religious architecture, boasting beautiful grounds and a wonderfully detailed interior. Work up an appetite with a walk through Shoreline Park, then dine above the water on Stearns Wharf. Fig trees, parks, waterfalls, and botanical gardens round out Santa Barbara’s natural beauty.

My brother and I did the Discovery Sea Cave Kayak Tour. This was definitely a trip highlight for us! This company was very thorough and safety conscious. Everyone was provided with sanitized mandatory safety equipment (helmets and PFDs) and optional attire (wet suits, paddling jackets, water shoes). Everyone was given instruction and made to feel comfortable. Our guide was Dustin and he was excellent. He was attentive and knowledgeable, his enthusiasm for his job contagious. And finally, kayaking through the sea caves, seeing the marine life, learning about the flora and fauna, and just being out on the water were wonderful. We would definitely come back.

We chose Wheel Fun Rentals to rent our surrey bike for my family of 4. It was very efficient and convenient to make the appointment online. It was $35 for the hour. It seems to be a better deal to rent for a half day, but with 2 small kids, my husband and I didn't want to pedal around for 4 hours. We had a great time riding along Cabrillo Blvd. The views were calming and peaceful and very zen. We would definitely rent again. When we arrived to the location to pick-up, there was no line (however, we did rent on a weekday, at 11:30 a.m.). I would recommend renting on a weekday, if you have that flexibility. The weather is near perfect in Santa Barbara all the time, so the surrey rental was perfect to end our vacation.

SB Limos went above and beyond! We just did a wine tour with them last weekend and it was so much fun. From the moment i called and booked they took care of everything. They called the wineries, set up our reservations, made sure we had plans for lunch, arranged for the driver to pick it up for us, and the driver made sure we had everything we needed throughout the day. He even offered to take pics of us at one of the wineries which was so awesome! This pandemic has changed everything, but this day was such a fresh breath of air, and i thank SB Limos for everything they did. Highly recommend. Ask for Stephanie when booking, she will help you with everything.
