My friend and I did the olive picking experience. We were taught about growing olives and shown how they are picked, then we helped pick the olive from a tree they picked out for us. Appreciate the work and skill that goes into growing, harvesting and processing olives into extra virgin olive oil that is the purest and most delicious olive oil you will ever taste. Fabio, one of the family that owns the farm, and Luca our guide, made the experience the best time we had in Italy. We had a lovely lunch on the farm on a beautiful sunny warm day. We ordered some of the oil that would be made with the olives that we helped pick. It came today and we are enjoying the experience all over again. We have already decided we want to go back again! Please don't miss this experience it is the best time you will have!!!

Cosimo Maria Masini

We offer a wine tour dedicated to natural wine-making and to the discovery of how to produce wine with full respect for the environment and its land. After a walk through the rows of grapevines farmed according to biodynamic methods we reach the courtyard - during wine harvesting here it is possible to see open pan vinification - and the vinsantiera (the place where the fine dessert wine Vinsanto is produced). We then arrive at the cellar and enter the barique cellar, where our red wines are stored to refine. Each step is accompanied by descriptions and extra focus on the topics by enologists and sommeliers of the Cosimo Maria Masini, who will be pleased to answer and satisfy any curiosity. The visit then continues to the garden of the villa which has famously seen among its residents the families of the Buonaparte and the Ridolfi, in particular Cosimo Ridolfi the founder of modern agronomy and of the Accademia dei Georgofili. The tour, which lasts for about 1hour and a half, concludes at the NOW Shop with wine tasting (our own wines) combined with the chance to savour some local products. Wine tours should be booked in advance.

Truffle in Tuscany (Truffle hunting experience)

Hi! My name is Massimo and I’m a truffle hunter; I live in San Miniato, a little medieval town located in the heart of Tuscany and deservedly listed as one of undisputed Capitals of Truffles. I wants to tell you about THE REAL TRUFFLE, its tradition, its history, the legends that recall its myth and its uses in the kitchen… this is my heritage and way to preserve the truffle tradition that is lost in today’s commercialized “Truffle Business” and, more importantly, it is a method of preserving a very unique habitat in the world where truffles grow in their wild habitat. Each one of my Truffle Experience is private and suitable for the whole family, and can be customized upon your request: it’s very important to me that I pass onto you insider “truffle knowledge” that I answer all of your questions and satisfy your “truffle curiosity”! I look forward to welcoming you!

Cooking Tuscany

My name is Letizia, a mom and housewife with a great passion: kitchen! Some years ago I left my desk job and I started to follow my dreams, looking for each time to transmit my passion to other people: to cook is something that relaxes me, enjoyes me and it gives me happiness. I spend my time to think up new recipes capable to remember the vegetable garden with flavours and perfumes, the job into the fields and the long walking in the middle of nature. I'm lucky to live in Tuscany, land where culinary tradition is a fundamental part of culture and history and to be grown in a family of peasant origin, where first my grandma and after my mom handed down me the secrets to be a good cook! Secrets... may be that's not the right word because it's just passion, curiosity and research of fresh products, healthy and genuine! For these reasons all of my cooking lessons will start from my vegetable garden, from the woods and from the fields, continue to my friends breeders or butchers who controls personally the quality of meats, at Tuscan wineries that makes wine ables to recount ancient traditions like grape harvest. Each cooking class is "private" and therefore planned around you: you should feel like in your home but at the same time part of the family; so you can satisfy also the littlest curiosity regarding products and Tuscan kitchen. Just so you will feel authentic emotions and uniques that just Tuscany and its traditions can give you.
