Things to do in San Diego, California (CA): The Best Game & Entertainment Centers

September 3, 2021 Enriqueta Cusson

San Diego embodies laid-back California culture, complete with a Boardwalk, surfing communities, and outstanding Mexican food. Breathe in the fresh ocean air at Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, then gobble down a fresh fish taco at a La Jolla seafood joint. The naval aircrafts at the USS Midway Museum will have you standing at attention. A free Sunday concert at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion is the perfect way to unwind after a Saturday night bar-hop in the thumping Gaslamp Quarter.

We have done many escape rooms, and usually escape. Sisters secret was more challenging than most, and we are going back for a second visit to try and finish the puzzles we couldn’t solve on our first visit. I would definitely recommend this room for experienced players and/or those who really want a challenge. The ambiance is awesome, and the puzzles were each new and different, so I truly don’t mind paying again to go back and finish what we started.

This experience was fantastic and I had a ton of fun. Me and 5 of my coworkers played Deadwood Mansion and had an absolute blast. We were running around in a big room with different types of weapons and were even able to kick enemies. I highly recommend this experience for families looking for something to do together, couples on a date night, or even as a part of a team-building exercise. No technical glitches at all. The staff was all very friendly and attentive and you could clearly tell that they had a ton of fun where they were working. Price is very fair at $36 per person for 30 minutes in VR (10 minutes in tutorial + 20 minutes in the experience). Plus you get some really cool videos of you in VR to show your friends. Will definitely be coming back again to try a different experience!!!

We were looking for something fun to do for an hour or 2 while in San Diego on a cold day, a party of 5 including youngest of 9 up until 30s. This was a hidden gem. Every 15 minutes there are games divided among 3 different colored teams. People of all ages were present. Sophisticated indoor arena. When we were finished and leaving, they offered us another free course run which we took up! We had some much fun!
