January 19, 2022 Jana Sager

Step to the beat of wafting flamenco music as you wander the downtown River Walk before sampling as much chili (San Antonio’s signature dish) as your taste buds will allow. A visit to the Alamo is an absolute must, as is taking in a show at the ornate Majestic Theatre. San Antonio Missions National Historical Park is dotted with 18th-century buildings and features, making for an enriching excursion.

Small park for a nice short jog and great for a picnic after. You can park and also go to the Japanese Tea garden for a hike

This is honestly a great place for kids. I came here with 4 adults and 7 kids- ages ranging from 1 to 10. They all had a great time. For the 1 year old there were swings and for the others there was a variety of activities from trampolines to swings to jungle ropes. For adults there or older kids they had life size checkers, corn home, chess on tables and even foosball. Plenty of seating throughout the park. We brought lunch and were able to sit and watch the kids play. They also had water bottle filling station which I thought was nice. Parking cost about $8 for 2:30 hours. Overall, it was a great park and we will definitely be going back.
