Top notch beach with life guards waters sports and very good amenities everything from beanbag lounging areas to large doublebed loungers all set in a stunning backdrop of greenery.. Crystal clear water that drops of quickly so young kids need constant vigilance.. But very impressive and great restaurants tight to the beach with lounger service don't need to move a muscle just relax by your lounger... Almost paradise just add a few palm trees... Fabulous.. ????????

Odysseus Zoo Land

We had a fantastic couple of hours here with our little boy (17 months) at this recently opened attraction. He absolutely loved looking at all the animals, especially the tropical birds and the ducks in the pond. There is a great selection of animals although they are more farmyard than zoological with sheep, goats, donkeys, horses, ponies, dogs, geese, ducks, rabbits, and deer. There are some tropical birds and tortoises though and the Odyssey exhibits are great. The Cyclops perhaps too realistic, my little boy was scared of it! There is a lovely little cafe at the top of the hill with lovely views serving a selection of drinks and snacks. We had the cheese pie which was delicious! The highlight of the visit was discovering one of the tortoises had escaped his enclosure ! The staff advised by husband to pick him up and put him back with his friends, apparently he is quite the Houdini and does this all the time as he is so little he can fit through the fence! The paths are a little steep with a push chair but manageable. Well worth a visit! It also looks like they are still expanding the site and building new attractions!

Agia Paraskevi Beach

Great place to while away the day and enjoy the crystal clear water of Ithaca straights. The beach is a typical stoney beach as are the majority on this side of the island but that gives you the bonus of clear water. When you've had enough of idling on the beach there's a great little Taverna at the back run by Thassos, try his Marinated Gavros, delicious.

Karavomilos Lake

Reviewed By thehoggfamily

This small lake which looks just like a standard pond is actually fresh water from the local Caves with fresh water trout in and next to the most stunning backgrounds behind and to the front of lush mountains and incredible sea views.....the whole area is a little hidden gem of a place which is just idyllic.....the lake is small with ducks on but does not really give credit to the absolutely stunning setting around it. I’d visit to see the sea and views behind it rather than the lake but all in all a stunning little place ????
