Mimmo is a superb driver and guide. Citizens of the world, especially my fellow Americans, listen very carefully: DiGiovanna winery is an absolute must if you are traveling to southern Sicily. My wife and I just visited there and we had the very best day of our entire Sicilian vacation. Melissa DiGiovanna is an American that married her Sicilian-DiGiovanna-prince. She was gracious and humble, despite the incredibly beautiful estate that they owned. We had an exclusive tour and a delicious private lunch in the winery with a multi-million dollar view. The courses just kept coming and every thing was absolutely fresh and delicious. The wines were superb and high quality organic. The price of $25 euros per person was grand theft larceny. Melissa was a superb host. We were introduced to everyone in the building as if we were special guests. There was no rush at all. She was extremely relaxed, gladly answered all the questions we posed to her, and provided is with several valuable referrals. Grazie mille!
