I visited Curacao for a day as part of my Southern Caribbean Cruise with Norwegian Epic in December 2019. I had originally planned to rent a car and explore independently but eventually decided on a private tour instead. And I am very happy to have done so! Nicole was our guide and she was just great! I exchanged a number of emails with her before the trip and she carefully listened to our preferences and put together a perfect itinerary for the day. We had two great snorkelling stops, chances to spot wildlife from flamingos to pigs to iguanas, delicious (vegetarian) lunch with a view and opportunities to experience some of the more remote corners of the island. As requested, Nicole took us back to Willemstad for some exploration by foot in good time before it was time to return to the ship. Nicole even added a shopping centre to the itinerary for some emergency shopping after I managed to break my flip-flops during the trip. All through the day, Nicole was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island and it was a great pleasure to talk to her. I would highly recommend Samurai Curacao for day trips in Curacao. Discover the stunning underwater world of Curaçao. Our first snorkel stop is at the Tugboat, a 30 ft, still-complete wreck, located in 17 ft of water. The Tugboat has been beneath the waves for three decades and is encrusted with corals. Lots of tropical fish will surround you here. The Tugboat is among the best snorkeling and diving sites of Curaçao, due to the shallow water and easy access. After this first stop, we drive you through the country side of the island to a natural beach at the most Western point of the island. This underwater Marine Park has so much to offer, like numerous multi-colored tropical fish and a very good chance to swim around some sea turtles that frequently visit this beach. Your snorkel guide will assist you and help you recognize the beautiful fish that surround you. After these fantastic snorkeling experiences we bring you back to your hotel.

Hato Caves and Ostrich farm. Anais was our wonderful tour guide who was awesome. She was extremely knowledgeable and wittingly sarcastic. The Caves were interesting but to start you have to go up 43 VERY steep steps. Once inside you must walk carefully. The formations are beautiful. Once complete you go by bus to the Ostrich farm where you see many animals but of course the stars are the ostrich.

Wow! I felt like I saw most of the island in one day! I started with a 5:30 AM hotel pickup to hike Christoffelberg, and then we visited Shete Boka park. We stopped at multiple beaches, saw sea turtles and flamingos, and drove through downtown Willemstad. Ray was great, and as an island native, he was able to explain much about the history and culture of the island. He was very accommodating and professional, willing to stop for pictures, allow as much time at stops as desired, and overall very pleasant company. I was glad I did this tour in the beginning of my trip, because he provided food recommendations as well as suggestions for other tours and things to do on the island. We even stopped to get coconuts at the end of the tour, and I was back at the hotel by mid-afternoon. You will miss out if you don't do this tour.

Take this tour if want to enjoy the beach, snorkeling, swimming, nature, history...if you don't care about any of that, then don't go. I'll recommend to take a little bluetooth speaker if you want to hang out the beach instead of the catamaran. There was No entertainment on the island, it was very relaxing. We fell in Love with Curaçao, but our trip to Klein was the " cherry on top". Disclaimer: this review is based on my husband & I experience. 1st: the bus was on time 2nd: everything was organized before getting on the catamaran. 3rd: the crew was so nice, Juice, Flavio and the captain, I think his name was Tariq,I forgot his name. 4th: if you don't know how to swim you'll have to get on a "dinghy" to go on shore. 5th: wear some good beach shoes/flip-flops to walk around. 6th: Please put on sunscreen! , Don't forget your waterproof camera or cover for your cellphone. We had our own snorkeling equipment, but if you don't have any they'll have some too. They'll provide a small breakfast, lunch and Drinksss!! I don't recommend having a big breakfast incase you'll get sea sick. The ride there could be a lil rough,but nothing crazy, We were standing all the way there. But I think it's better if you'll sit because I've the catamaran is moving it's hard to walk around.Coming back it was so Relaxing..we sailed! Other than that, overall is a nice experience, I will definitely will do it again, once I'll learn how to swim so I'll be able to swim with the the turtles. Again Don't forget to wear sunscreen! *** The crew does a good job so try to bring some cash with you for the tip***

Perfect Day Tour - OUR BEST TOUR. • Pick up from the hotel/ship. First stop will be the Flamingo area. There after we will visit the Shete Boka National Park. At the next stop, we are going to snorkel with the turtles. You can take picture and/or film them. To relax after the snorkeling, we lie down on the most beautiful public beach on the island, Kenepa beach. We did the flamingo-snorkel-and beach tour a couple of days ago and we were totally satisfied. The guides, Sevi, Patrick and Eddy made sure everyone is having a great time! Snorkeling with turtles was a huge dream of ours and it was awesome! There were so many turtles and Patrick took beautiful underwater photos of the animals. The guides were helping us after the tour, too. Traveling these corona days are not always easy, but they helped us with some useful information.

Based on the Trip Advisor reviews, I contacted Around Curacao to set up a private tour for our party of 8 adults for the day our cruise was in port. Andy and his staff were so wonderful with all the details of our booking and the communication with me before our cruise. I had detailed instructions as to where we would meet our guide, Lypson. He was waiting for us when we arrived and that begin an amazing 6-hour tour of the beautiful island of Curacao. We swam with sea turtles, saw beautiful beaches, discovered the rich history of the island and enjoyed visiting with Lypson...who also sang for us! It was a great tour and something we would have never been able to get on a ship excursion. I highly recommend Around Curacao. Enjoy your tour and thank you, Lypson, for a great day!
