Thank you for an amazing experience! Bryn guided us safely through these beautiful mountains, telling us about Mauritius history and culture with such a passion ???? made all the landscape even more meaningful. I've learned so much this morning! About the island, the apple trees with no apples, about climbing, bit of everything really. He also took amazing panoramic pictures for us. What an energetic, passionate, caring human being this guide is! Can't recommend Explorers Mauritius enough!

From walking in the woods, climbing slopes, swimming in natural pools, being massaged in jacuzzis, drooling on majestic views and finding hidden treasures of nature, we did it all. Kevin was the right person to guide me throughout this superb trek. His friendly and composed character made the experience even more pleasant, grounding and smooth despite the challenge. This is a must-go place to anyone visiting or living in Mauritius. Thumbs up Horazis for bringing me this unique experience!!

THE TAMARIND FALLS The Tamarind Falls, also called the 7cascades, is an adventurous hike in the heart of the island. It’s a total immersion in our tropical forest, where we will discover five of seven waterfall of Tamarind one after the other. Located in the centre of Mauritius, the hike offers a great discovery of the diverse nature of Mauritius. Surrounded by lush green forests and dark volcanic rocks, we progress on single tracks and open areas offering astonishing views upon the falls and the canyons. During the walk, we have the possibility to enjoy a nice swim in the natural pool that water has carved in the rock, and appreciate a natural massage under the cascades. This hike is suitable for the whole family and lasts more or less 3 hours including the swim breaks.

Inclusions: Bottled water

At first, I was planning to hike Le Morne Brabant myself. But after reading about how technical the hike is, I decided to book with Yanature. I'm so glad I did it! The hike is definitely doable but it SO MUCH more enjoyable with an experienced guide who can coach you through the more tricky sections. Our guide Manuel (Manu) was fantastic and I learned a great deal about the Mauritian culture and lifestyle. We had a great group of tourists from different parts of the world and it was enjoyable to hike with a diverse group of interesting people. This was one of the best experiences during my time in Mauritius, Highly recommended!

Not sure what to say as we hit Mauritius just as CV19 did and despite being told otherwise by our Captain, we were unable to dock twice We just managed to communicate with Ridwaan and he adjusted his plans so that if we were able to dock two days later than planned, he would be there to meet us, which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, by this time, Mauritius had closed their borders to all ships. We let Ridwaan know and even though we did not ask, he organised a full refund for us. Therefore, should we be allowed to travel ever again and eventually get to Mauritius, we will definitely use his service. Great service although not the one we were expecting.
