The 15,000sq foot facility houses a library, classrooms, a play space for young children, a shopping gallery with items made by local artisans, a second-hand store, sports center, recycling center, playground, conference facilities and even more surprises. The Entreamigos Community Center has won numerous recognitions and awards for its sustainably designed facility, quality programming, compassionate action and innovative practices. Everyone including visitors and tourists are welcome to visit the facility and join in the activities. Free guided tours are available at 11 am and 3 pm, please ask at the front desk. Visitors are encouraged to learn more and to help support the organization by purchasing locally made gifts and items at the gallery or by bringing backpacks and school supplies to donate to the scholarship program that supports 87 children in public schools.

Such a wonderful community center- definitely recommend taking advantage of the free guided tours are available at 11 am and 3 pm to learn about how it all started and the amazing work they are doing in the community. When you visit consider bringing backpacks and school supplies to donate to the scholarship program and/or anything else to be resold in their recycle/thrift shop (I packed extra clothes to donate and also brought all the hotel toiletries) Also help support the organization by purchasing locally made gifts and items at the gallery- the best gift shop in town! I can't wait to go back!

Well worth a visit. There is a small restaurant there that serves drinks and nice Mexican food. Tables overlooking the bay. It’s a lovely place for Comida. Small but the people were very welcoming and the food was good. Charming. The chairs were all brightly painted with Mexican scenes.

Our Lady of the Rosary (Nuestra Senora del Rosario)

Reviewed By Sally20074 - Shelburne Falls, United States

Unadultered authentic Nayarit small lovely friendliest town. People relaxed, happy and helpful at every turn. Food exquisite and favorite eating was on the broad street leading in and out if town near the hill up to the Condaturia. Accommodations intimate, immaculate, gardened thoroughly and best bug pool For laps which I seemed to have to myself. Birding probably the best dense (!) ever of Pacific given our pretty small sphere of travel ( up into mountains, down along shore but not in breath of Kilometres). We are already planning a hearty return next year.

Step into another time and world by visiting the Altavista Petroglyph Site about 30 minutes outside of Chacala. The carvings and rock formations speak of ancient civilization and sacred ritual. It was a blissful experience.

Marina Nuevo Vallarta

Set in the heart of Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit. Marina Nuevo Vallarta has rapidly gained a reputation as one of the renowned private marina of the region. Located few minutes away from Puerto Vallarta and the International Airport.

Reviewed By AZCoachJ - Prescott, United States

Very convenient to most resorts located south of the Marina and North of the River. An evening walk of the beach adds to the experience. The Marina is home to many nice restaurants and little shops. Most restaurants were taking cash only, preferring Pesos. Additionally, the restaurants have added additional outdoor seating to accommodate COVID protocols. A unique experience.

On our first night in Bucerias it seemed like a sweet, quiet little town. On Art Walk night it all changed. This was a hopping town, people everywhere having dinner and drinks and fun. Lot's of great street vendors and musicians. Take time to visit on this night, well worth it.

El Buzo de Bucerias

Reviewed By 485mauriceb - New Smyrna Beach, United States

Stopped by El Brujo and enjoyed a great table on the beach. Fantastic view of the bay. Chips and salsa are provided at no charge, goes well with ice cold refreshments. We ordered as a light lunch the chicken nachos and they were delicious, the best I have ever had in PV. On Wednesday it is 2 for 1 ribs, so definetly try this place in Bucerias.
