For seven years the team of the Center has been forming an extensive program consisting of educational, popular science, educational and cultural events — exhibitions of contemporary art, screening of documentary and feature films, meetings with authors, lectures, and discussions. “Smena” also initiates studies of urban space and local history subjects — later they are published as books or exhibited in the Center’s gallery. Besides, “Smena” is the only independent bookstore in the city. It represents new independent and niche publishing houses, books of the main intellectual publishing houses on art, children’s illustrated literature, and much more.

Since opening in December 2016, «balcon» has been hosting guests and conducting interesting events: different master-classes, exhibitions, courses of acting, creative meetings, tea parties and many others.
