The drive to SiddhiVinayak Temple was amidst nature with half way beach following the route!! The Temple is well maintained and felt very peaceful and serene after doing the Darshans and seeking Blessings of Bappa!! Infact, through the Temple complex one can also trek towards the footsteps of Lord Ganesha!!

I went to Sri Kanakaditya Temple. Sri Kanakaditya Temple is one of the few temples situated in Maharashtra that is dedicated to the Sun God. The main idol installed here is over 800 years old and is made out of the black stone, while the structure is made out of mud and laterite stone. It is great place to go.

Temple in a cave lighted inside with oil lamps only. For 2 seconds you won't see anything & then suddenly the oil lamps besides SHIV LING make you feel as if you truly have seen GOD! Just close your eyes and you are lost in another world. Believe me this is a place that everyone should visit in their life. If you are planning to visit Konkan then this has to be in your list. There is a huge waterfall nearby. There are around 585 steps to reach the temple but you won't get tired at all for sure. You don't have to carry water or food or snacks as everything is available all throughout while climbing the steps. There is ample parking space for vehicles. Me & my wife felt blessed after visiting this heavenly Marleshwar Temple.

Nice temple and Bhagwati devi idol is very beautiful. However the fort in which the temple is located is not at all maintained. Visit only for the temple and the sea view.

Parshurama Temple (also known as Shree Kshetra Parshuram) is a temple of Lord Parshuram the sixth avtar of Vishnu in Hinduism located at Chiplun in Ratnagiri District of Maharashtra The temple was built by initiative from Swami Paramhans Brahmendra. He was the Guru of Siddi Yakutkhan of Janjira, Kanhoji Angre Kolaba, Peshwa of Pune, Chatrapati SHAHU Maharaj , Tarani of Kolhapur. He was also admired by the Portuguese and English for his presence in Peshwa and Angre's courts. Siddi Rasul Yakut Khan gave financial help to build Parshuram Temple in 1700. He gave Pedhe and Ambdas villages as Inam (prize) to Swamiji to incur daily expenses of the temple. Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj gave 5 nearby villages as Inam (prize). He built three temples, a Deepmahal (a tall stone structure used to light oil lamps as an offering to God) and a lodge for the pilgrims at Parshuram. Kanhoji Angre gave Mahalunge, Dorle, Kalambuse, Nayari, Virmade, Anewadi and Dhawdashi Inam (prize). In 1726 Siddhi demolished the temples by blaming Swamiji for giving away their elephant to Kanoji Angre, which was not true. The elephant, on its way from Savanur to Govalkot was taken away by Angre's men to Jaigad. The Swami became angry and returned the elephant to Siddhi Saat. He later realized his mistake and rebuilt the demolished temples.

Shri Dev Vyadeshwar temple is dedicated to the God Shiva. It is located in Guhagar, Ratnagiri District It is considered the Kuladevata of many Chitpavan families in the Konkan region. The architectural style is called 'Panchayatan', which contains four subordinate shrines in four corners and the main shrine in the center of the podium, which forms the base.[7] Here, Shiva is Vyadeshwar the central shrine, with Surya, Ganesha, Ambika and Vishnu with his wife Lakshmi as the South-East, South-West, North-West and North-East subordinate shrines respectively. Nandi sits in front of the main shrine. The temple has three entrances to the east, west and south. Guhagar is 45 km away from Chiplun. Chiplun (35 km) is the nearby railway head. We reached there by own vehicle in the afternoon and darshan were easy.
