The Peak of Monte Tomba. This monument remembers the Italian and French soldiers from the Infantry Regiments 91° and 92° who died during the Great War. We toured on our own, since I was to organize a trip for 6 friends to travel the Strada del Prosecco. This was a fact finding mission and we went to visit all major places for wine tasting and came to Refrontolo, Soligo, Follo, San Stefano, San Pietro di Barbozza, Valdobbiadene and further on the Old Prosecco Street to Gua, Combai, Miane, Follina..etc.etc. The beautiful rolling hills and especially in the Cartizze area with the vineyards and wineries are spectacular. Can' t wait for the next time in September.

You can reach Monte Pizzoc a three hours walking in the forest from Fregona. In summertime it is an amazing walk and the view from Pizzoc to Cansiglio plain and the mountains is fantastic.
