KITE Salento is the home of kiteboarding and SUP here in Lecce, Salento, Italy. We are very proud to be the school of Kitesurf more professional but with a focus on the fun. The Salento is the ideal place to learn this wonderful sport. The constant wind and beautiful beaches provide ideal conditions for the practice of Kitesurfing.

Salento Coast Ovest is our school, our second family. Was founded in 2004 on the ionian coast, and for 10 years we are on the side of many students. The instructor is Mino Bastia, which guarantees high quality courses witnessed by all of his students, thanks to the experience matured in many years and the passion in this wonderful sport. He is the FIV (Italian Sailing Federation) and offers the opportunity to learn to practice kitesurfing in Salento giving kitesurf courses in Gallipoli in Green Bay or Torre San Giovanni inside the national park, depending on the direction and intensity of wind. Usually in the summer months, we are in Torre San Giovanni near the Camping Riva di Ugento to enjoy a great thermal wind that is blowing about 15-18 knots with a direction predominantly from the WNW and has flat water.

Interesting boat excursion along the coast of Cape of Leuca with visit to the caves and swimming break.

We do chartering and leasing of boats, both sailing and motorized, organizing half-day (3 hours) or daily (7 hours) excursions along the Salento coast, but also visits to the caves both on the Ionian and Adriatic sides, sport fishing trips, aperitifs, lunches and dinners on board. The various activities also include the weekends sailing between Leuca and Otranto or Ionian Greece. On request we also make the Boat & Breakfast service.

ROSA DEI VENTI ESCURSIONI we improve your stay with beautiful activities at sea through a 7,5 meter 250hp inflatable boat, to make excursions to Leuca's sea caves and to rent a dinghy with or without a skipper. The excursion to the caves lasts about 3 hours and consists in the visit of the caves on the jonio and adriatic side sea, with 2 swimming stops.
