We visited Sicily for approx a month in January. We decided not to drive ourselves and used a company called Taormina Transfer. They are extremely flexible and will do as little as transfer you from Catania airport to Taormina or arrange a trip all around Sicily with day tours like they did for us. Always on time and very pleasant. Maria and Massimo were great and nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend them.

Incredible experience. Pasquale is a very nice and upbeat person. He took us to the best wineries. From the moment he picked us up it was clear that he had the entire day in perfect control. He is always professional and also fun. We really enjoyed the wine and food and the cellar tours. Pasquale even sent us several pictures from the day of fun that we had together. It was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. The communication was great - I asked Pasquale to arrange to have a cake for my girlfriend's birthday ... he made sure that at every destination there was a cake and everyone sang. He made me look like a hero! Thank you Pasquale!!!

This tour combines the travel on an ancient and unique railway, the visit of a volcanic winery (wine and food tasting, visit to the vineyards and cellars), and a quick visit of the medieval town of Randazzo. The railway service starts in Catania and terminates in Randazzo (duration is 2 hours). The railway is peerless, connecting the small towns surrounding Mt. Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. The view is just incomparable and scenic. In Randazzo, our guests will be driven to the close winery, for a full tour of the vineyards, cellars and a wine and food tasting (pairing of wines and Sicilian food). At the end of the tour, we'll drive back to Randazzo for a quick visit of the historical centre. Then, you'll have the chance to go back by car or by train. I am a wheelchair user. Our hotel reception booked N.C.C. to take myself and sister to Mount Etna. Antonino arrived on time and put wheelchair into boot and assisted me into car. He was extremely kind during the trip and it was a pleasure to meet him.

Explore Mount Etna on tour from Catania! You will be introduced to the landscapes and geology of the Volcano from our naturalistic and passionate guide. Following a hiking route up to 2000 meters, you will have the chance to admire forests, craters, lava formations, and scenic views of the mountain. Snowshoes are provided during the winter season. You will visit a volcanic cave using the equipment provided from us (helmets and torches). At lunchtime we will stop in a nice local Winery. You will have lunch with a rustic appetizer, a first course of typical pasta, tasting three Sicilian DOC wines. We decided to go visit Mt Etna and it was one of the highlights of our trips to Sicily. The booking of the excursion itself was easily done with the help of Andrea who provided us with all the requested information. On the day itself we met our guide Janet who first brought us to collect the necessary gear and then took us to commence our adventure on Mt Etna. Janet is a passionate geologist/vulcanologist who showed us some very interesting things during the walk, and helped us understand the different stages of eruptions as well as the different types of lava and the ways they present itself. A packed lunch and water was provided for us by Etna Experience. The whole day we saw stunning views at different altitudes, combinations of colors in the sorrounding forrest and the famous cave "Grotta dei Lamponi". It was a very informative and fun experience, I would recommend it to anyone visiting Sicily.

This was an excellent trip. The guide, Tony, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. He lives in one of the villages on the national park and hi knowledge was excellent and he was so informative and enthused on the subject. The half day tour was just the right length as well.
