Use the water taxi....they are great. Go fast for a thrill and the kids loved it. One lady was feeling sea sick and they dealt with her amazingly. The best way to get to the Island from Santa Pola, without a doubt

Everything went as expected, the ferry departed 15 minutes early and took exactly 2 hours from Denia to San Antonio. The return ferry I took from Ibiza to Denia arrived 30 minutes late, including getting off the ferry and arriving in the terminal building.
