Estadio Nacional

Whilst in Lisbon it was wonderful to be able to visit this stadium and see where the Lisbon Lions became immortal. A quick taxi ride from the hotel and we were there. We were allowed wander the stadium at our leisure and soak up the atmosphere. All the while imagining what it would have been like to attend the actual match where history was made. Lovely to see the plaque commemorating the 50th anniversary too. A very special place. And for free!! The security man called a taxi for us and was most helpful.

The venue was very intimate feeling so was perfect for this gig, I had great seats and no issues finding them. Staff and security were all very polite and helpful too. Nicely done

Estadio do Dragao

Have you ever thought of taking a seat on the 22nd chair of the Dragao Stadium's Presidential Box? By visiting the Dragao Stadium, you will be able to experience the President's Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa place and enjoy an inside and privileged look over this worldwide referenced work designed by architect Manuel Salgado. We did an early morning tour (9:30)- you can book online or buy in the store when they open. The tour was about 12-12 people - I think the small tours are great. Our tour guide was great and because of the small group it went really well. We walked the stadium and saw the press room, visiting team locker room and met the team mascots - if you are a fan of the team and the sport then I recommend the tour. The Museum is also a good part of the whole experience and it pulls the history of the team together - I agree that about 2 hours is what you will need for the tour and museum.
