This is an awesome castle in Portillo, Valladolid. It is owned by the University of Valladolid. The entrance fee is just €1. It was built in tge 15th century by the Mendoza family. Later on, it was owned by the Pimentel family. In the 19th century it became property of Pio del Rio Hortega, a famous scientist and researcher. Staff is super nice, they allowed me to visit the museum just at the time it was closing.
