From the moment our tour guides Daniel & Brenton picked us up you new the day was going to be a relaxing and enjoyable day!...Our informative and friendly guides walked us around the painted cliffs and many lookouts on the northern tip of Maria Island.. A beautiful lunch provided and regular spotting of native wildlife along the way.. I would highly recommend this tour for a great day trip.

3/5 would probably suggest a pretty average experience but I would have actually given it a lot higher if they had gone through with the Mt Wellington section of the tour that we paid for. Through no fault of their own the roads were closed and had been for days before our tour but we were only informed of it while we were on the bus. We do feel Tours Tasmania misrepresented this and could have called/emailed ahead and given us the option to pull out or reduced fee. Mt Nelson was a poor substitute at best. That being said, our guide David was exceptional and really saved the tour for us. He was friendly, knowledgeable and loved to talk about everything in his city. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and learning from him. Overall, we feel the company did a bit of a bait and switch on us but David did manage to salvage the day to an extent. I'd recommend checking all locations are available before registering a tour with these guys.

We did the dinner and ghost tour package. The food was excellent and the dining setting was very ambient and the lovely service was super efficient, most likely because of the fact we were part of the tour package. Please note that if the evening lends itself to wet weather, bring wet weather clothing and/or umbrellas, etc - as the tour is predominately all outdoors. Wear practical footwear and clothing for the outdoor weather. Don't expect a spooky theatre event, you will however be treated with stories of apparent sightings and a historical journey learning of the Sites patrons. Some may be surprised that this Site was not purposely built to serve as a convict penal colony... I'll say no more..
