Tributary Whitewater Tours

Rafting on the Middle Fork American River offers some of the most reliable Class 4 all season California whitewater rafting trips. It is a suitable raft trip for the active, fit and adventurous first-timer or a great choice for those seeking a step-up from the milder South Fork American River. It is set in a beautiful, rugged wilderness canyon in the Gold Country foothills. Though you can take a 1 day 17 mile trip, the 2-3 day Middle Fork American River rafting trips are some of our guides’ favorite summer rafting trips.

My wife & I played here Saturday 2/8/2020. The sand traps have fluffy white sand now, unlike a lot of our local courses. We both had a fun time and completly enjoyed our day of golf. Bring a lunch, no clubhouse but a great cartgirl!

Miners Ravine Trail Loop

Reviewed By JereLakoJoy - Roseville, United States

I have lived here in Roseville 40 years now and recently started walking/biking the Ravine. I saw somewhere where it said "Loop" trail. No it's not a Loop trail and there are many places to enter or exit the Trail system. Sierra College and downtown Roseville is the beginning and or end of the Trail. 8.5 miles from one end to the other. Like I said, there are many areas to enter and exit. I saw one homeless camp area but have never encountered someone who looked homeless. Many walkers/joggers/and bikers. Area's are marked well and Trail is wide. Walkers and Joggers to the Left and Bikers to the right. GREAT place to exercise.

Whitney Oaks Golf Club

Reviewed By steverR2157ZV - Roseville, United States

It's a must-play if you're a decent golfer, but, it's not for the faint of heart. It's fair if you play it smart but tough, very tough with trouble waiting in front and to all sides if you don't. It's also, challenging in a very fun way. So it can eat your lunch, but you swell with pride after a great round or even a well-played hole. There are several risk/ reward holes and birdie holes that are sooooo rewarding when they pay off and make up for the inevitable double or triple boogie.. Smart, straight, and accurate distance control, more than most courses, is extremely important. Golf course designer Johnny Miller, reportedly said jokingly after playing the course for the first time after completion, "I'll never play that course again. It's too tough". Also, the LPGA tried a tournament there one year and declined to return...."Too Tough".
