Things to do in Paris, Ile-de-France: The Best Points of Interest & Landmarks

November 24, 2021 Deane Carmody

Lingering over pain au chocolat in a sidewalk café, relaxing after a day of strolling along the Seine and marveling at icons like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe… the perfect Paris experience combines leisure and liveliness with enough time to savor both an exquisite meal and exhibits at the Louvre. Awaken your spirit at Notre Dame, bargain hunt at the Marché aux Puces de Montreuil or for goodies at the Marché Biologique Raspail, then cap it all off with a risqué show at the Moulin Rouge.

Porte Saint-Denis

We were around this district every day on our recent visit. Absolutely love this neighborhood, a mix of hip Millenials, newly arrived immigrants, and lots of shoppers. Full of cafes and restaurants of all types, but many are affordable. The arch itself is magnificent.

Joelle Kem Lika Gallery

were created in 2010 in Paris. In March 2007 in Burgundy. In July 2009 in Aquitaine.I have been a psycho therapist for 25 years until September 2006. It is my belief that every one has a Pulse of Life ; in reference to this, I have initially called my galleries "La LiLa". In March 2014 I have decided to call my galleries simply "Joëlle Kem Lika".Acrylic on canvas, paper,Indian ink, watercolours...Figurative or abstract style...I'm preparing a turning point for my galleries : I will be working with other artists. I will be presenting some of my paintings along photo art work on a common theme. More soon ;-)
