Our travel agent in the UK used Acampora for local arrangements on the ground for a private trip. They were superb - very reliable, knowledgeable guides, really helpful and went the extra mile to accommodate what we were interested in seeing/learning about, as well as to find great views and lunch places. Always on time and very professional. We were 2 people in a Mercedes people carrier and travelled on a day trip from Positano to Amalfi/Ravello/Scala, on another day Pompeii (4 hours with a guide!), and on our final day Herculaneum. We also spent a day without a car in Naples, at the Archaeological Museum (3 hours with a guide). The transfer from Naples to Positano was in the same Mercedes. Many thanks to Ugo the guide, Leonardo the driver, and also Giulia the guide!

We set up a 4 day tour during our visit to Puglia recently. Months ahead I contacted Tours of Puglia to help us get the most of our visit. Francesca asked us what we wanted to see instead of telling us “this is the Tours we have”. Our main goal was to visit our ancestral home of Alberobello. I also asked her recommendations, which she gladly provided. She set up a full 4 days of touring which included 2 night stays in Alberobello (Trullo houses) and Lecce. We visited all of the main sites of Puglia like Locorotondo, Matera , Ostuni, etc....she included an incredible meal each day, including a meal at a Masseria....our guides, Vincenzo and Flo were beyond incredible....they were like walking historic encyclopedias. Vincenzo was instrumental is us locating the street in Alberobello where our grandmother was born. They, and our drivers, went out of their way to insure we missed nothing. We were just 4, so everything could be personalized. Everything went as planned and we could not have asked for for more....we cannot recommend Tours of Puglia mort highly...

We where visiting Puglia for a week and of course Ostuni is a must. No one had told us about this way of sightseeing Ostuni. My husband and me where just arriving in one of the plazas when all of a sudden I see this motorino. Well it is definitely the best way to see Ostuni since it has hills and doing it walking would have not been so fun.

Ostuni is one of the main tourist destinations of Puglia, called "White City" for the houses painted with white lime in the historical center. The guided tour of Ostuni will start from Libertà square, where there is the grand palace of the municipality and where stands the baroque column of Sant'Oronzo, almost 21 meters high. In Libertà Square you will also visit the archaeological excavations of the ancient walls and the defensive tower before taking Cattedrale street, full of local craft shops, commercial activities and typical local food product. You will then reach the cathedral dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta built in the fifteenth century. The façade is characterized by three elegant ogival portals and a large rose window of 24 rays. Better condition ruins, smaller, more accessible, great glimpse into the lives of the rich and famous ancient Roman's. Poppaea was Nero's wife. Ruins are about 90% wheelchair accessible.
