The Stone House, a landmark 1822 bungalow, and St. Stephen's Church are remnants of the area's first British settlement. The church is a wonderful heritage building built during the British times. It was designed (if I remember correctly) by one of the Captains in the British Military as early as in 1830s. Unfortunately I could not see the inside due to Sunday Mass. If you are interested to visit the church inside, I would suggest visiting on a day other than Sunday.
