Yelland & Papps are for wine lovers and enthusiasts looking for individual, elegant and distinctive wines made in small quantities. Those wanting a connection with a small family winery that are passionate about what they do and hands on with all aspects, practicing old world techniques in a new world way and continually pushing boundaries but respecting the traditions of the famous Barossa Valley. Yelland & Papps is a 1st generation husband and wife team starting in 2005 in the iconic Barossa Valley, using a minimal intervention approach to create elegant, structured fruit forward wines to enjoy in a social aspect or can cellar gracefully for many years to come. Today Michael and Susan own a small vineyard on the valley floor outside of Nuriootpa in the Barossa Valley and have two young children, Peyton and Campbell living amongst their Winery and Tasting Room. They do not feel they fit in a winemaking box and do not adhere to rules of whether they are unconventional or traditional,
A beautiful setting - the background music wasn't needed as it was such a peaceful place. Relaxing at an outdoor table overlooking the beautiful garden & lawn while the various wines were brought for tasting & explanations of how each wine differed from the one before. We loved hearing the history of the property & the more recent history in the making of this small winery. And the wines were very good!

Loved this place for so many reasons! Looking forward to revisiting again in a few years when the vision is complete! We were looked after by Kevin who shared his passion with us and we spent an enjoyable time sampling the delicious wines on offer. Preferring reds we thoroughly enjoyed the Merlot & Shiraz but we were equally delighted with a stunning Chardonnay that stood out to us both! Having made our purchases we returned a second time during our visit to buy a gift for friends as we enjoyed it that much!

Atze's Corner Wines is a new cellar door offering premium wine tastings of Andrew Kalleske's family's estate grown and made wines. On an elevated floor located in the winery itself you'll taste through the range surrounded by wine barrels. The cellar door also offers a balcony where you can enjoy views over the 100 year old vineyard, wine by the glass and a small selection of gourmet platters. The only cellar doors open till sunset on Friday and Saturday nights where you can watch the sun set over a 100 year old vineyard.
We spent some time here and the experience was very good. Having the winemaker Andy on site to provide an insight into the wines was fantastic, and we even got to meet mum Barb. A really family affair. Would strongly recommend a visit, and the wines are worth it.

This winery was on our agenda due to a previous family interaction some years ago. We were not disappointed. The lady who helped us was extremely capable and knowledgeable, and informed us about each wine that we tasted. It helped that these were beautifully crafted wines with local character. She also gave us some insight into the history of the property, and it's previous usage as a hospital, run by the Scholz family from the late 1800's to about 1960.

Great wines start in the vineyard and with our own selection of vineyards spanning over 200 acres through the Barossa, we are able to select the best parcels of grapes to produce outstanding wines for tasting in our cellar door. Our modern cellar door opened in July 2018 and is a feast for the senses. With grazing boards utilising local seasonal produce served until 4pm, 180 views of the Barossa ranges and vineyards, conference facilities and a floor to ceiling viewing area of the working winery, Rosenvale offers guests a fun and informative Barossa experience. Taste single vineyard and estate grown Barossa wines, dine on grazing plates, or shop for later in our pantry of Barossa produce. The cellar door brings an immediate sense of welcoming with its open spaces and friendly service. Group bookings and buses by appointment only.
Charming hostess Jo, talked us through the delightful range of whites and reds through the cellar door. Lovely chilled and non-crowded venue compared to most others in the Barossa.
