We did The Great Western Bank Heist for my birthday this year. We had a group of 7 people and it was everyone's first escape room, but certainly won't be our last! The amount of thought and design that went into this room is astonishing. As a contractor I can definitely appreciate the amount of work that went into building this room and the amount of puzzles and clues are just mind blowing. The staff / owners are incredible and very helpful without giving anything away. They are very friendly and explain everything extremely well. They told us that this room has a 13% completion rate within the hour that you are given to do it. We managed to win with 7 SECONDS left on the clock!! It was an incredible experience and we will all definitely be back. HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Highland Bow & Arrow

Make an appointment to learn traditional archery on the Cabot trail, or get a lesson and a private tour on a 3D shooting trail. Ages 8+ on the range and 12+ on the trail. Host a party or group, use the outdoor kitchen and have a bonfire. Nature at its finest in the Highlands of Cape Breton!

My husband and I were thrilled to discover this in the area. We were staying 30 minutes away in Ingonish and couldn't pass up the opportunity to try archery. Jay, the owner/instructor, was fantastic! Very friendly and she gave a great tutorial. We were both first time archers and needed lots of guidance. Our session involved approximately 10 minutes of "lessons" and then we were free to shoot to our heart's content. She was there to give tips and tricks as need, but also let us do our own thing. She was a lot of fun to just be around! Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back!

We were visiting family and hadn't gotten a chance to celebrate our anniversary, discovered an escape room on our last day in town- New Year day (holiday). I contacted the staff via email to confirm availability and they got back to me immediately and were happy to come in and set everything up for us even though they had no bookings for the day. We had a fantastic time! very grateful for the accommodating staff who took time from their holiday to help us celebrate! Great for small groups, couples, families, work team building... a fantastic way to spend a rainy day in town while you wait for laundry etc.

We just finished the Train Heist room on Canada Day and we did the Magical Room before the Covid lockdown. Both rooms are a lot of fun and very impressive. The room decor and puzzles are top notch. We have done about twenty rooms and are thrilled that two of our favourites are so close to home. The Magical Room was a little more complex, but I think we enjoyed the Train Heist even more. We also took advantage of their home delivery to enjoy their wonderful selection of Escape Room games, puzzles and family board games. Everything felt super clean and safe. It's a great family experience in this time of social distancing. We are big fans and can't wait for whatever comes next. Brenton DeLong Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada

This is a great free outdoor skating area that makes its own ice. It is part of a large historical Commons. Great for walking in the city, also amateur sports on parts of it in the summer. Very close to the Historic Citadel and the downtown of Halifax.
