Based on my previous experinces with Taprobane Tours and Travels, I'd requested them to organise an excursion for an international delegation I was visiting Sri Lanka with. The delegation was the Anglican Interfaith Commission of the Anglican Communion. We were a group of twelve from twelve countries of the world. I had wanted the very best for them to experience Sri Lanka during a very short visit. Nishantha organised a fantastic excursion for us. The finale of the Tour was a fantastic cultural show featuring many dancing traditions and styles from various parts of Sri Lanka. The members of the delegation were very impressed with the tour and ask that I add thier appreciation to mine in writing this review. It is very likely that some of the delegates would return to Sri Lanka to go on a tour with Taprobane free from the constrains of a formal visit. Taprobane Tours and Travels is the best!

The park offers everything that is needed for an exciting safari. Great landscapes, many animals, especially elephants! We were very close to the elephants and were very lucky to be able to watch a whole herd and also some baby elephants. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize our tour guide - not only did he inspire and excite us with his very good mood, he also saw many small animals with his trained eye and answered our questions thoroughly. The 3 hours passed by in no time and gave us many nice memories. Would totally recommend booking a trip with these guys :-)

Ashiq Aswar is a superb tour guide! Him and Rizni took my family around on a tour of Colombo that included shopping and then a tour of the outskirts of a bee farm, spice gardens a private tour visiting and riding elephants. We had a great lunch in a clean and air-conditioned restaurant. The van was clean and comfortable. They picked us up and dropped us back. This trip was actually in the early part of last year in spring, but the calendar on Trip Advisor only goes back to summer of last year. They were very attentive, very caring and personable. I would highly recommend Ashiq and Kingfisher tours to anyone visiting Colombo, Sri Lanka ????????

Hi guys... I would like to share with all of you ...about my recent experience to this amazing one day city tour 10th March,2020, to the Galle city...in south Sir Lanka. I am a person from Delhi India...and was a bit dicey initially about this location to visit but after my friends insistence I finally booked and we visited the place....and I must say it was all value for money. I had a wonderful experience out there . We visited the most famous & beautiful Galle fort. I got to learn that it's a place of cultural heritage . Had lot of fun...shopped some memorable souvenirs like wooden statues from there. Besides national museum and rest tour, I mostly and truly enjoyed the mesmerizing unawatuna & jungle beach. This place was truly awesome and serene! I must say and thanks to this company 'tripadvisor', who we had our tickets booked through & all. These guys did a wonderful job...had planned themselves the whole day in advance. They took care for even the smallest requirements ...be it our transportation... facilities at our hotel stay ...hygiene...food...wonderful shopping experience for us, etc... Everything was pre booked and so well taken care of..!! Above all, best part I felt is that they have strategically an executive dedicated for managing our whole tour...so we had this tour executive, Senura ...who personally paid complete attention to us & helped make this trip for us a memorable one! I booked my airport transfer online for @$19AUD. They messaged me on Whatsapp before the flight to confirm pickup details, which was nice. The driver had a sign with my handwritten name on it so was easy to find. It was strange as he took a pic of me holding the sign to send back to the Office. I was wondering should I be worried??? No one else does this?! The Office forwarded the pic back to me on my phone as confirmation. During the drive, the Mozio driver tried to sell me his private driver/tour services even though I told him I was doing a tour. 1km for RS55. Not bad. Nevertheless, he was a good driver. The drive itself is 20-30 Min to Camelot Beach Hotel. Taxi costs RS 2000-2500 (hotel told me) Tuk tuk RS 700-800 (hotel to airport). Tuk tuk cannot stop at airport front door, so you do have to walk 5 Min pass security check points. The shuttle comes every 30-40min.
