We were on a small tour to Mata Ortiz, and learned we would also visit an archeological site and museum, which had been unknown to most of us on the trip. I was delighted to learn of this extensive site, impressed by its historical import, and the beauty of the fertile region. Beautiful new museum complements the ruins. I highly recommend visiting both Paquime' and Mata Ortiz; easily done in a single day if you stay in the town of nearby Nuevo Casas Grandes (not charming, but decent hotel)
