Arareco Lake

Filled with the mysteries and customs of the local Raramuri local people, this region offers visitors hiking, horseback riding and guided river tours.

Not much to see if you're on a driving tour, but an easy bike ride from Creel if you're up for country bike rides. Motorcyclers seem to love this spot, two groups arrived while we were there for 25 minutes. Beautiful scenery, and there are many long and short walks available from the parking lots. Rest rooms weren't generally available while we were there.

Cholla Bay is a nice quiet spot in Puerto Penasco! Nice beaches, restaurants and a famous JJ’s Cantina is a must stop! Check out Scott’s condos for a comfortable stay as well! Cholla was great!
