Walk the Lecale Peninsula

Explore a story begun by Saint Patrick in Lecale County Down 1600 years ago. Walk with local guide Duane Fitzsimons along the ancient paths and hills through a series of folklore walks and rambles. The burial place of Ireland's three patron saints, Lecale is defended by a ring of medieval castles. ​ Located at the feet of the majestic Mourne Mountains on the shores of Strangford Lough 20 miles from Belfast. The walks range from coastal rambles and hill walks to tours of town and villages. Duane is a published author and a trained Hill and Moorland Leader. Group bookings can be arranged.
