Hastings Distillers

Hastings Distillers are New Zealand's first certified organic producer of artisan spirits and liqueurs. Drawing from their experience as winemakers, David and Kate create a sensorial landscape of New Zealand using a complex blend of botanicals. The cellar door located in the artisan quarter of Hastings offers tastings, bottle sales and all-day light menu.

Hastings Distillers Dead classy place, the whole experience wonderfully designed and executed. Go for the tasting experience. Taste a couple of gins and an aperitif made with orange and herbs. Ask for a negroni made from them. oh yes! Linger over delicious morsels of food. Leave with a bottle of the Albertine gin or, at the very least put your name down for one, as it's a rare beast of wonderful delight.
