Course is under new management. Regular competitions and events. Course condition improved out of sight particularly the greens and bunkers. Probably the most challenging course in Batam but generally not busy. The clubhouse/reception is at Nongsa ferry terminal so exceptionally convenient. Its a well kept secret but deserves more plaudits/success.

Palms Springs is the go to day of golf if you want to avoid the expensive and at times arrogant approach of course in Singapore. Palm Springs is a 30-40 min ferry trip from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal and then only 5 mins from the terminal in Nongsa. The staff are great from Emily who assist to book everything, to the team on the front desk and and all the golfing staff and caddies. The course has three 9 hole courses (Palm, Island and Resort), all challenging for all levels of golfer. The restaurant is ok and the menu provides a fair variety of local dishes and some alternatives for the less adventurous. My favourite is the Nasi Goreng. Given it's location, the quality of the course, the skill of the caddies and the easy of getting there and back in a day, for around SG$110 (incl ferry tickets, golf fees, transfers, visa handling, golf club handling, lunch, caddy and cart) why would you not if you have the time.

Went during COVID19 outbreak hence there's not many guests here! Nonetheless lovely stay here, 5 minutes ride from NongsaPura ferry terminal via hotel shuttle bus Managed to check in early, took the sea view room and view is beautiful ! Breakfast is from 7 till 10am, widespread of food :) restaurant is 24/7 in case you're lazy to travel out to find for food Difficult to get Grab here as the location is quite far from City, but hotel provides transportation, payment as per One way or 4 hours, and the drivers are hotel own staffs to ensure of our safety and our belongings! Walking distance to Turi Beach, water activities are mostly there, pool is very clean! Hotel toilet has bidet spray, hot water works fine! No bugs or lizards in the room despite having a balcony! I'm quite particular with cleanliness hence I'm really happy here ! There's no elevator or lift here as it's only 2 floors, so do pack light ! Staffs are very friendly, approachable and polite! You can visit Nagoya mall and do some shopping there! Just ask the counter staffs for help if you don't know where to go (like me !) If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, this is the place to book :)))

A great course with knowledgeable caddies and friendly staff. Typical Norman design that plays quite friendly off the whites and a lot tougher off the blues
