2020 was a difficult year to travel, but if you can make it, it is all worth it! Given the various restrictions imposed on tourism during this period, Activity Sicily still delivered a rich and smooth programme: food was great, tours are interesting, hotels are comfortable and in great locations, and the cooking class is particularly fun. We focused on the food and wine aspects in this tour, the knowledge behind the food provided great insight into Sicilian people, history and culture. Massimo was hands-on all way through the tour to make sure everything went well, and all the guides are professional, knowledgable, and helped us to make the most of the trip during this difficult time. That said, the bonus is -- with hardly any tourists around, we really got to see the place as it is! Thanks Activity Sicily.

We visited in October on the last day of our honeymoon in Taormina and it was fantastic! Our driver, Salvo, was so knowledgeable and friendly and made the drive really fun. The winery itself is gorgeous - great selection of wine and food to try and everyone there was really welcoming. The lunch at the remote farmhouse was a real highlight of our trip. Cannot recommend enough - a definite must if you are staying in the area. Thanks so much Salvo!

Mimmo is a superb driver and guide. We used this company for a week-long trip to Sicily, including airport transfers, hotel transfers between Taormina, Siracusa, and Ragusa, and a few site and winery tours. The driving service was excellent---on time, professional, and knowledgeable. Both Francesco and Luciano were wonderful. We booked a few specialized tours on our own and those turned out to be better than the tours we booked through this company. I think guides can be hit or miss---Mila in Siracusa was wonderful and Teresa in Agrigento was on her telephone the entire time she was with us. The wineries they booked for us were also hit and miss---Murgo on Etna had great wines but we arrived an hour early and had to stand around in the rain, and the biodynamic winery in Noto (Cantina Marilina) had great food but wines that were largely undrinkable. There was also a problem with our chocolate tasting tour in Modica so we missed the laboratory visit. But I can't fault the company for the guides or the wineries, really. They are basically an excellent chauffeur service, and we can wholly recommend using them as a driving service. Their professionalism and courtesy made our holiday stress-free and, given the opportunity, we would book them again.

It was a fantastic Italian experience, our driver Gianluca was very polite and he knows every corner of Sicily, to stop in great places for lunch, he stops to let us take the best photos, the minivan is very clean and comfortable. We stay in the most authentic hotels where you immediately feel like at home, spectacular views and professional service. In every place we were accompanied by a local guide whose knowledge was enciclopec. They were all knowledgeable and spontanious that made the experience special. For our three teenagers the best day was Mount Etna and Taormina experience. Highly recommended
