Laissez les bons temps rouler! In New Orleans the good times are perpetually rolling down Bourbon Street, which, thanks to the city’s annual Mardi Gras celebration, has quite a party animal reputation. Once you’ve soaked up the scenery of the historic French Quarter, tour the elegant Garden District and meet the colorful characters of Frenchmen Street. Experience the city's supernatural vibe at the Voodoo Museum or by taking a guided ghost or vampire tour through taverns, alleyways, and cemeteries.

It was OK. Not as scary as I expected. The tour guide was very tired after a long day of giving tours and our bus microphone wasn’t working so we couldn’t hear anything.

Mark is AMAZING.... . We cant say enough wonderful things about him and the experiences he pulled together for us in the 11th hour. He picked us up from the airport and from then on it was a volcano of information. For just a minimal extra fee he was able to include sites from some of his other tours because my daughter and I are very much into abandoned buildings and street art, of which Mark happens to offer separate tours on both. He even took extra time out with us to show us some of the best local food spots. We are incredibly grateful to have met Mark and to have booked NOLA Detours.

Brian was great, funny and educational. On our way to the Whitney Plantation, he pointed out several landmarks and showed us a lot of movie sites without the extra cost, including evergreen plantation, oak alley plantation and other locations. We even stopped for food, Brian was very generous and very hospitable. The entire experience was made 100 times better thanks to "Derek". Recommend this 100%.

This pub crawl was awesome! Coby was our tour guide, and he was very knowledgeable about the ghost history in New Orleans and surrounding areas. The tour was very well organized. Coby took us to multiple bars of different varieties, and we got to try the famous Voodoo Daiquiri and Hurricane drinks! Coby has a history in paranormal investigations and is a local from the area. Loved his accent! He gave us plenty of time at each stop to take pictures and ask questions. We learned about some really spooky New Orleans history on this tour, and I would highly recommend!! It is a walking tour, so make sure to wear comfy walking shoes!

This is a small narrated group tour by van. At Whitney Plantation's Louisiana Museum of Slavery, see the harsh realities and raw historical facts of a dark side of American history. The slave narratives and artwork recreate the world of a pre-Civil War southern sugar plantation and memorial in honor of the lives of the enslaved people who toiled there. A short ride through sugar cane fields leads to St. Joseph Plantation, a Creole style family-owned working sugar cane plantation. Family members give a relaxed, intimate tour of their ancestral home and dependencies (including original slave cabins).

Inclusions: Hotel pickup and drop-off, with exact pick up time provided, Live commentary on board, Professional Driver/guide (additional fee for foreign language bilingual guide)

Exclusions: Gratuities, This tour does NOT include a meal, Snacks and drinks available for purchase
