Had a bit of friendly competition amongst the family (Father and Sons) at Slideways Go Karting in Nerang, Gold Coast This was a very fun and unique experience, the course was indoors and relatively short with a bunch of ramps over 3 different levels with a shiny plastic track making the karts slide and drift for a very cool experience. If you love go karts you will love this place if you are ever in town “Jonique Life” Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

Nerang Cineplex

Reviewed By minnie242 - Gold Coast, Australia

Nerang Cineplex is such a cultural landmark you’d expect a bigger carpark - so come early! Or carpool. Then enjoy a light meal at one of the nearby cafes or just browse around the shopping centre after you’ve bought your tickets. You won’t be sorry! We saw Jumanji on Boxing Day. Packed to the gills. Staff were alert, cheerful, efficient, knowledgeable. Our cinema was clean and comfortable, and the aircon was good. The seats were very comfy. I was a little dizzy walking (migraine), but the steps weren’t too hard to manage; someone with real balance issues might want to sit in the lower section or ask for assistance. The screen is lovely - it’s so easy to see everything on something that large and clear. And the sound was at the perfect level for me - not too loud yet I could hear the softest whispers from the film, and in the audience around me. Speaking of audience: oh! The munching! The rustling! Most of the way through the film - didn’t anyone eat lunch before??! And the the mess those poor kids had to clean up after! I stay until the credits are finished - you never know what you’ll miss if go early - and honestly, people should be ashamed at the mess they leave behind. Yet it’s all pristine for the next session. ;) And we come back to reality feeling like we’ve had a holiday. Such excellent value!
