In Vetreria Venier you could find unique and unrepeatable pieces. The Venier is also able to work on commission, creating customized items. Venier has the largest and the best supplied glass furnace in Murano. The show-room is 3.000 mq. Funded by descendents of one of the historic families of the island, New Murano Gallery enjoys a 2500 mq, where the most prestigious artpieces made with Murano glass are selected and exhibited to the public. Vetreria Murano Arte (VMA), recognizable by its characteristic red outline visible from Venice, spreads over an area of 3500 square meters in Calle San Cipriano 48/1, Murano (waterbus stop Murano-Colonna). At our premises you can visit for free the furnace and see the glass masters at work. We have an art gallery with 14 showrooms with the best of the Murano craftsmanship and a gift shop. We are open all days from 9am to 4pm.

It was during this period that began the collaboration with the artists from the Fucina degli Angeli which included in its ranks a refined and cosmopolitan elite world of European art of the twentieth century from Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque and Gio Ponti to Jean Cocteau, Fulvio Bianconi to Carlo Scarpa. Today, Mazzega welcomes to its prestigious permanent collections the best glass art that is produced in Murano.
