This is our first trip to Australia and we did not know what to expect. We found a gem! Not only is Sydney a beautiful city worth multiple visits, but Jelle was a personable, well spoken guide. We are only in Sydney for a few days (leaving on a cruise) so we tried to jam in multiple short tours. I would take this again. It was great seeing all of the special places in this great city. I left the tours wanting to come back again. What else can I say? Highly recommended.

After a wake-up coffee on the way to the mountains we will start with some wonderful lookouts and vistas (5 in all). We will then head to the Giant Stairway for a closer examination of the Three Sisters followed by a replenishing lunch. After lunch we can visit Leura Village, Scenic World and the Hydro Majestic Hotel. This itinerary is adjustable. You might wish to include a bushwalk (short or long), or add one or two other more offbeat locations, which we can discuss on the day. Met Greg At Kings Cross & began our tour of this old & historic part of Sydney . Loved the old houses ,elegant terraces, colonial mansion ,retro architecture & hidden little green areas. Greg was Able to give us the historical background of the buildings & some of the history of people Influential in the area. A relaxed & informal tour where we dictated the pace . Greg is a very knowledgeable guide with a dry sense of humor . Lots of fun Finished with a lunch on the shore of the harbour A great day Kate & Graeme

6. The other side of the Blue Mountains

Sydney Nimble Tours

If you want to see some sensational scenery this is the day for you. Mountains, valleys, escarpments, geometric rock formations, waterfalls, ferns, rainforest and botanical gardens are all on the itinerary. The day includes two bushwalks - one to a majestic lookout and the other through rainforest. Neither are long but if you would prefer not to bushwalk we have some very enticing alternatives. At Mt Wilson we admire the Cathedral of Ferns and have a short look at the quirky Museum of Turkish Baths. At Du Faur Lookout we will see some extraordinary sandstone formations. Two very different gardens are included, the Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens and Windyridge Gardens. Both are high quality. The panorama of Govetts Leap lookout, Evans Lookout and Echo Point are mandatory when we head South of the Grose River. By the end of the day you will be saying that your eyes are exhausted from beautiful scenery. At this point we head home.

Inclusions: Nutritious lunch - salad, fresh rosetta bread rolls with a choice of fillings (Italian meatballs, rocket, tomato, havarti cheese, chutney),, Bottled water
