Moratuwa is a large suburb of Colombo city, on the southwestern coast of Sri Lanka, near Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia. It is situated on the Galle–Colombo (Galle road) main highway, 18 km south of Colombo city centre. Moratuwa is surrounded on three sides by water, except in the north of the city, by the Indian Ocean on the west, the Bolgoda lake on the east and the Moratu river on the south. According to the 2012 census, the suburb had a population of 168,280.

The park offers everything that is needed for an exciting safari. Great landscapes, many animals, especially elephants! We were very close to the elephants and were very lucky to be able to watch a whole herd and also some baby elephants. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize our tour guide - not only did he inspire and excite us with his very good mood, he also saw many small animals with his trained eye and answered our questions thoroughly. The 3 hours passed by in no time and gave us many nice memories. Would totally recommend booking a trip with these guys :-)

I think it was the best choice to take this workshop during my travel. The ladies are wonderful, I was helped, explained and supported absolutely professionally and I got to know so much more about Sri Lankan culture then throughout my entire trip in Sri Lanka! We learned basic steps and hand movements of Kandyan dance and played the drum and ended with a small group dance. I had high expectation and have to admit it was more than worth it! I would rate it 5star plus if I would have the option.
