My sister & I went to Montville for the day on Wednesday. Our visit to Home & Hers was lovely. They have a beautiful array of homewears & clothing, however it was the two ladies within the shop that made it so special. They were beautifully presented, warm & welcoming. The shop itself was spotless, beautifully arranged & showed their passion. It was not a good time for us to spend much, the only purchase I made was a little glass that cost me $1. However on my arrival home & opening the package I found my little glass well wrapped in beautiful wrapping with all the care of a much more expensive purchase. I was not asked to “buy a bag” as is so infuriatingly the norm today no matter how much you may have just spent. We will be returning to this lovely shop again, this time to spend far more than $1.

Clock Shop is an established and well known business on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Nestled in the mountain village of Montville the Clock Shop has been importing genuine German clocks for over 25 years and specialises in quality timepieces for all types of decor. Cuckoo clocks are at the heart of this wonderful business. With literally hundreds of cuckoo clocks ticking as you walk through the door of the gorgeous stone and shingle building, you will be amazed at the sheer number of clocks and the enchanting sounds of cuckoos, chimes, and tick tocks as you wander through the store. European Christmas decorations also add to the warmth and charm, almost drawing you away to somewhere deep in the Black Forest in Germany. As well as clocks and Christmas decorations, you'll find watches, German beer steins, music boxes, carvings and other fascinating souvenirs from Germany. Be sure to call into the Clock Shop and see for yourself the incredible range of German clocks.

We went to this lovely restaurant today with friends. Devonshire tea scones were beautiful and coffee was hot and delicious! But what made our visit special were the two lovely ladies who served us.....friendly, fast service and a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back next visit.

We visit Castle Glen Cellars every time we are in Montville and always receive very friendly service. We love their choices in Liqueurs and fancy glass bottles. Free taste testing is a must and we have found a few favourites that we keep coming back for. Always something new to try.
