This is the ONLY place that you can get the crazy gems pack (kids pack) and boy oh boy it kept my 10 and 6!year old busy for 5 hours. We bought them each a bag and they sluiced right along with us. The kids pack is filled with a variety of EASY TO SPOT large stones and fossils. Our kids were so excited with all of their finds. My 10 year old even found a 2 carat sapphire in his mix! We soon found out that NO OTHER PLACE HAS this (it’s trademarked)!!So if you go to other mines grab a bag here for the kids to take with you! It will make every mine more enjoyable! On our way back home we stopped back by to grab a few bags for the road. Anna was kind enough to print me out some rock bingo cards to take home. We are even having them cut a few stones for us ($20 + $10 shipping) which was the best price we found so far! Great first and last stop! My husband found a 3.5 carat sapphire and over 17 carats of cuttable sapphires (in one bag) we have already cracked open a kid bag with the cousins!

This shop is wonderful! I would rate it as one of the very best in the entire Flathead Valley. Its clean and beautifully curated. There are many separate vendors within the shop and the goods they all sell change continually. Its a great place to look for Glacier Specific items. We visit this shop multiple times a year...its that good and the staff are wonderful. Prices and goods for all tastes and budgets. The shop has been open during Covid with logical precautions. I would encourage visiting and shopping there to help them stay in business. You will be amazed at all the goods offered for sale there. It is not like so many shops which all buy from the same wholesale markets to stock their stores.

I fished two days with Anglers West guides last week. Both did a great job. Stoneflies in the morning and hoppers in the afternoon. I am an experienced fly fisherman, so having real pros on the oars makes all the difference. Craig and Zack both made the days a lot of fun.

The Last Wind-Up

The Last Wind-Up has been providing Bozeman with quality timepieces and watch service for over 25 years. A downtown institution, the shop also houses many interesting items not for sale, such as a vintage time-lock safe, a reconstructed Central European tower clock, and antique watchmaking tools that are sure to pique your curiosity. We carry a wide range of new and vintage timepieces, as well as a rotating selection of local art, jewelry, and other handmade items such as belt buckles and knives.

Very interesting watch and clock shop with a wide selection of old and new watches, beautiful antique cabinetry housing their timepieces, old gramophones, and men's shaving items from days-gone-by (bristle brushes, razors, soaps). The antique clocks are amazing and the new novelty clocks are a delight. We were referred to them for watch batteries...had 3 changed and bought a novelty clock (crazy cat with yarn pendulum). Cooper and the other clerk were polite, informative and friendly. We will be going back and taking our friends! Loved it!

I go into feather your nest fairly often but have never eaten there, until yesterday. Everything about this sweet little place was wonderful! Very fun and calm atmosphere, very friendly and kind service and the food is all homemade except for the bread (that's what we were told). The tomato soup was very good, slightly sweet but full of excellent flavor! Their sandwiches are very good and their pumpkin dessert topped it all off! A very fun place to visit and have a good lunch! I highly recommend! And will for sure be back!

I went into Fins and Feathers last minute and they set me up a guide for two days out. Our guide was Will Allen. Don't let his age fool you. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. My friend and I caught about 12 fish total and had a great time learning from Will. He was engaging and energetic. I highly recommend him.

Wow, so many great items but at very expensive prices. You can find anything you want but it will break your pocketbook. Great store on a side street in the town of Missoula. Granted their merchandise is top shelf but prices are high. Street parking is hot or miss. Great to check it out though.
