Took my 4 1/2 yr old grandson. He wanted to go back the next day. He played well with other children, he asked for help from the staff who made him comfortable helping him, and Grandma was comfortable watching him from a nice couch. Amazing use of a relatively small space (?30 feet by 60) for a children’s museum. Smaller area enhanced child to child interactions.

Art Museum Of WVU

Yes, the Art Museum of WVU is small, but Morgantown is fortunate to have this little gem and it is worthy of a visit. And it's free! Local family members tell us that exhibits rotate regularly so repeat visits will always present something different for the art lover. We enjoyed our visit here and would visit again while in the area. Recommended!

Morgantown History Museum

Reviewed By MarkLaurel

The museum is just off the downtown main street going toward the river. It is not large, but it has a lot of memorabilia and is free. It was a quiet afternoon when we stopped by and the person managing the museum at the time talked to us about some of the displays. Of course, there was a lot about Don Knotts, but the part about the Pietro family and their part in the early infrastructure of the town was quite interesting. Many of the old brick streets he built are still there today. His legacy seems to be only in the history books at this point, but the museum does a great job of telling his story.
