This is an excellent day return trip to Golden Rock from Yangon. Perfect for those who wanted to get away outside Yangon only in a day and particularly interested to see why this place is so special, famous and important Buddhist's site. Leaving Yangon at 7:00 a.m and we'll be passing through Bago city, Htauk Kyant Allied War cemetery, beautiful countryside of Myanmar, Sittaung River and finally get into Kyaikhto Township. A truck car ride up and down hills from Kimpun Base Camp together with local pilgrims will be a great fun. Golden Rock is located about 3600 feet above the sea level. Entrance fees, simple breakfast, lunch, a private A/C car, guide and truck car fees will be covered.

Due to Covid-19 we have been 'stuck in Yangon for 5 months. The Government opened up domestic travel and we contacted Zaw Min Oo @ Jack. He arranged our accomodations, flight to Mandalay, road trips to Bagan, Kalaw and Inle Lake (smaller flight routes still not operational) and flight back from HeHo. The 10days were absolutely amazing. We stopped at many little places along our travels off the tourist track. The tours were informative and interesting and he didn't spare the effort to make it as fascinating and interesting as possible. It was like travelling with a friend, not a tour guide. Jack's passion for his country is contagious. Highly recommended.

For our trip to Myanmar they provided a perfect service. The visit to Chin state was simply awesome: the driver/guide who accompanied us was very friendly and careful with local people. We visited private houses where we could talk to the tattoo women and have a real feeling of their traditions. Everything in full respect of their privacy. It was the best part of our trip!!! Nevertheless, their knowledge of Italian language, made everything easier. We made all the arrangement via mail: their response was very quick and efficient; beside that, Flora also speaks fluent Italian and this made everything easier. If you are planning to visit this beautiful Country and want to have a real "local experience" just get in contact with them!!

Kyaikhtiyo is the largest domestic tourism center. It stands on a gilded boulder precariously perched on the edge of the hill over 3615 feet above sea level. There are many legends about the pagoda and Nat (Spirit Gods) shrines along the way from the base camp to the pagoda. There is also a popular belief that a person gains in wealth every time he climbs the hill. It is a test of one’s endurance and is very exhilarating once a person has reached the summit. Kyaikhto Hotel located on the hillside is the full view of the pagoda. The season of pilgrimage is from October to May. Our coach has to stop at Kinpun Basecamp. From there we have to use an open truck which is normally used for hilly track up to the mountain too. To Yathae Hill, you can also reach by trekking from the base camp. Porters and palanquins are available to carry luggage and pilgrims who are too old or weak.

This trip was outstanding. My guide, Ms San San Shwe was a font of knowledge, carefully planned the day to correspond with the heat and was happy to oblige with a side trip to ‘The Lady’s House’ to satisfy a bit of hero worship on my part. The circular railway was a great deal of fun also, but it was Ms Shwe’s knowledge, bubbly enthusiasm and obvious love of her country that won me over. If this is your first time in Myanmar, this is a must do tour. I was sooooo impressed.

It is the most amazing visit to Myanmar. A villager is very nice and welcoming to visit their home. She give their transitional clothes for remembrance memorials photos. Worth a visit.

Moe Moe from Real Treasure Travels & Tours was recommended to me by a friend who highly recommended her services. Moe Moe took great care in planning our itinerary and took into consideration the needs and interests of our travel party. Throughout the whole planning process, Moe Moe was very prompt in her communication and we were able to finalise the itinerary details very quickly. In this trip, we went to Mandalay, Bagan and Inle Lake and engaged Real Treasure Travels & Tours for Bagan and Inle Lake. We did not required a guide in Mandalay as we had a friend to bring us around. From Mandalay, we took a domestic flight to Bagan and started our tour with Moe Moe's team. Even though our tour only started in Bagan, She was very thoughtful and communicated to us the important things to note when leaving Mandalay, e.g. how early to leave our hotel in Mandalay so as to reach the airport by a certain timing. This was certainly helpful as we are not familiar with the road conditions and the travel time required. Thanks to her, we managed to catch our flight at a very comfortable pace! Moe Moe arranged one local guide in Bagan and one local guide in Inle Lake to bring us around Bagan and Inle Lake respectively. Both spoke good english and are extremely knowledgeable about the area and places of interest. We are very interested to know more about the daily lives of the locals and Moe Moe has very cleverly incorporated many workshops into our itinerary so that we can see and experience how their local products/ snacks are made. It was a very eye opening experience! We enjoyed those workshops, especially the cooking class at Inle Lake! Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable trip in Myanmar. I would definitely recommend all to consider Real Treasure Travel & Tours as your travel agent when travelling in Myanmar. Moe Moe and her team are very nice and considerate people and has your best interests at heart when planning your itinerary.
