We (my husband and I ) had an amazing time in the Galapagos Islands! We did this trip at the end of October 2020 after the stressful lockdown covid months, so we were looking forward to unwind and visit for the first time the enchanted islands as our vacation. The tours designed by Rebecca Adventure were perfect and customized to our taste and needs. We visited Santa Cruz and Isabela and it was perfect because there weren't many tourists at the time due to the pandemic. We were truly impressed with all the activities, the wildlife and the services provided by our tour guides. We got to see most of the land and marine fauna that we expected, including hammerhead sharks. It was without a doubt one of the most memorable trips of our lives. We highly recommend Rebecca Adventure as your tour agency for the Galapagos and Ecuador. Biosecurity measures were very well respected on the islands, so its safe to travel! If you're looking to come to Ecuador and the Galapagos this is the time, still less tourists, the wildlife is truly impressive and besides life is short, take risks and ENJOY IT!

Napo is an Ecuadorian province, located at the eastern side of the country. Its capital is Tena. The province contains the majestic Napo River, which is one of the main affluents of the Amazonas. The thick rainforest is home to many natives that remain isolated by preference: descendants of those who avoid the Spanish invasion in the Andes and the Inca’s years before. Tena, the capital, is known as the Cinnamon capital of Ecuador, originally founded by missionary explorers and is located at 420m above sea level with a temperature between 25˚C and 32˚C (77˚F – 89˚F). Tena is famous for the rainforest and the rivers that surround it. It has some of the best rafting and kayaking activities in Ecuador. The lodge of this program is located 20 minutes away by public or private transportation from Tena city, making it very easy to access and it is on the banks of the huge Napo river.

Inclusions: Accommodation in chosen lodges., Lunch, Breakfast, Dinner, Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast, Lunch, Breakfast, Dinner, Spanish-speaking local guide, Meals according to our itinerary, Rubber boots and life jacket, 24/7 assistance in Dutch, English and Spanish

Our tour guide was terrible! He would take us to each activity and then be on his phone the whole time! Hardly interacted with us. I would totally give his name to warn others but he never even introduced himself. The activities were pretty cool, but we didn't do three of them. I feel very ripped off! One of them was due to rain, that's fine. The other things were supposed to happen at the indigenous community and just didn't happen. When we asked our tour guide he acted like he didn't know. That whole part of the tour was not impressive at all, they did not seem enthusiastic to be there. I really wish I could file a compliment about our tour guide, he should not have a job like that! And I hope to get some money back too since we didn't get to do all the activities that was on the itinerary.

We realised almost immediately that 2 days was more than enough time at Suchipakari Lodge as there was absolutely no vibe and the host Carlos way too familiar. The rooms were NOT clean and the waste bins in the public area right next to the kitchen and dining section were overflowing and could be smelt while having dinner. The Jungle hike was good and informative - visit to the volunteer zoo just ok although admire the work they do, waterfall hike was really nice and wouldn’t bother with the Monkey beach. We left early with absolutely no regrets.
