This promises to be an experience of a lifetime! Our dogs are highly trained and socialized and are the stars of the show. Come and cuddle with our sled pets! In addition to dog sledding we now offer Mindful Paddling & Hiking Guide Services. We have a Guest Suite - come and stay with us!

What an amazing day with the dogs! Linda expanded our adventure yesterday to include our first time out tapping maple trees. We hooked up the dogs and two sleds to mush out to the maple forest, unhooked the dogs to put them on ready lines in the woods (they got a break), and we headed up into the woods to place taps and sap collection bags on previously identified trees. None of us had done this before, so it was a wonderful learning experience, and so much fun having a woods hike excursion with a purpose in the middle of our dog sledding adventure. Looking forward to hearing about the rest of the process! All of the dogs and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and so willing to share their Up North lives with you. This is a visit you won't soon forget!

I thought this was an artsy place to shop until we got there and found out it’s more for climbing, walking, and enjoying the scenery!! We loved it. We climbed all over the rocks & took tons of pix. You could spend a couple of hours climbing or just sitting on a rock and watching the waves rol in. We walked to the lighthouse at the other end too. There’s also a rocky beach to enjoy if you like. There is a good-sized parking lot with free parking and there is no cost to visit this place. Highly recommend it!

Ponds At Battle Creek

Reviewed By JoeNathan9249 - Saint Paul, United States

Lovely 9 whole course, in which "ponds" come into play on majority of holes. In Aug 2020, the course was in very good shape. Greens a bit slow. You can play 9 or 18 (repeating the 9 holes a second time) There are a number of shots over ponds. There are many others where ponds on just off the fairway, which are fairly wide. Senior rate including 18 hole card was $36. Very reasonable for metro area. Club house is small. well equipped. St. Paul paper has published a story saying that Ramsey County, which owns the course, is going to close it a the end of the 2019 Strongly recommend playing this before the end of the 2020 golf season.
