Margaret River Farmers Market

We went twice on our two Saturdays in the area and each time ended up having breakfast from various stalls and eating a little too much. All of the stall holders so passionate and helpful about what they offer and samples were a great way to entice me to buy more than planned. I think the thing that prevented me buying even more was we were visiting at the start of a day out and had no cool bags to keep the produce cool in the car.

Visited for the first time today and was suitably impressed! It's a beautifully laid out store, easy to find your way around, full of fresh local produce and lots of different homemade products which all looked delicious (I can testify to the deliciousness of the freshly made chocolate croissant!) The staff were super friendly, no queues and full of stock despite lockdown. Will definitely be back!

Open every first and third Saturday of the month from 8am until 12 noon, the Vasse Markets are one of the oldest markets in the South West; providing local farmers, artisans and crafters a friendly space to sell the products they grow, bake or make, direct to the local community. Some of our stallholders have been supporting the markets for 2o years. In October 2019, six stallholders banded together to bring the markets back to life and have had great results so far, with more growth to come. A visit to the Vasse Markets is a lovely way to spend the morning, browsing the variety of stalls and enjoying a cheap & cheerful morning tea or lunch. Bring your family and friends along for a great local experience!
