I spent 7 days on this paddle steamer with another 100 or so passengers, initially a 3 day cruise in an inside cabin which I later extended for another 4 days in an outside cabin. The boat travels by day and is moored overnight, the pace is not rushed and can get a little boring although trivia and bingo is scheduled during the day with several on shore excursions also arranged, some included and some at an additional cost. There is a dinning room, lounge and bar onboard, dining is at set times with passengers assigned to a specific table for dinner. Food is good and plentiful usually with several courses and two choices. It’s all inclusive except for drinks which are reasonably priced, drinks are charged to your account which is settled the night prior to departure. The cabins are quite small even for a solo passenger and I preferred the slightly larger inside cabin although they have no window. All in all a fun cruise popularly with the older crowd, I’ve booked again for next year.

We had an absolutely brilliant tour of Kangaroo Island. As we only had a few days in Adelaide we chose the one day tour to really just get a taste of the island and get an idea of what's there, with a view to maybe coming back in the future for a longer trip. From the minute we were picked up in Adelaide CBD we were well looked after by the Sealink staff. However, our driver and tour guide for the day - Dani - was just incredible. She was remarkably knowledgeable about the island, was friendly and professional, and took amazing care of us all as we went around the various activities. They really pack in the sight seeing on the day trip and I think it's great value for money, there is plenty to see and the tour on the bus makes it really interesting and engaging. I would highly recommend! And we'll definitely be back to Kangaroo Island for a longer stay!
