De kluis van Vrijhern is door zijn hoge ouderdom(1685)en authenticiteit een waardevol stuk religieus erfgoed. Ook vandaag nog vervult de kluis een functie als ontmoetingsplaats tijdens de wekelijkse mis elke zondag om 9u15 en in het cafetaria van 14u30 tot 18u30. Wij zijn ook gelegen in een uitgestrekt wandelgebied met startplaats van 3 gewone wandelingen en 1 interactieve wandeling.

Back in 1673, pilgrim Lambert Hoelen, after a visit to the pilgrimage house of Loreto, had a replica built on Bolderberg. It became an important place of pilgrimage and, to this day, a hermit still lives here. Take a look in the chapel and admire the panoramic view.
